Operating instructions
Intended use:
Congratulations on the purchase of your new device.
You have acquired a high-quality product. The
operating instructions are a component of this product.
They contain important information on safety, use and
disposal. Familiarise yourself with all operating and safety
information before using the product. Only use the product
as described and for the declared uses. This product is
intended only for private, non-commercial use. If you
give the product to a third party, also provide them with
all documents. This LED lamp is not suitable for household
room lighting. This LED lamp is suitable for extreme
temperatures below -20°C.
Safety instructions and warnings:
LED: Do not look directly into the light, or direct the torch
into the eyes of other people. Switch the product off when
it is not in use. Do not immerse the product in water or other
liquids. Always keep the product, batteries, and packaging
out of the reach of children. The product is not a toy.
We accept no liability for personal or material damage
caused by incorrect use or by failure to comply with these
operating instructions. In such cases, any guarantee claim
is nullified.
Safety instructions for batteries:
DANGER TO LIFE! Batteries can be swallowed which
poses a danger to life. If a battery has been swallowed,
medical help must be sought immediately.
• Remove the batteries from the device if they have not
been used for a longer period.
• CAUTION! DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never
recharge the batteries!
• Prior to inserting the batteries, clean the battery
contact and device contact if necessary.
• Immediately remove exhausted batteries from the
device. There is an increased risk of leakage!
• Always keep batteries away from children, do not
expose the batteries to fire, do not short-circuit the
batteries, and do not disassemble them.
• If these instructions are not complied with, the
batteries can be discharged beyond the cut-off
voltage. This poses a risk of leakage then. If the
batteries have leaked inside the device, remove
them immediately to avoid damage to the device!
• Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous
membranes. When getting in touch with battery acid
rinse the affected area with plenty of water and/or
consult a doctor!
• Always replace all batteries at the same time and
only insert batteries of the same type.

Illuminant: 1 x 3 Watt CREE LED/approx. 120 lumen/
lifespan approx. 10 000 hrs
Battery life: 100% mode: approx. 5 h (at 20% of the
original illuminance)/Eco mode approx. 12 h (at 20% of
the original illuminance)
Lighting range: approx. 120 m (according to ANSI test criteria)
Splashproof as per IP44
Initial operation:
Unscrew the end cap [2] of the light and insert the two
batteries [3] in the direction of the arrow into the case [4].
Ensure that the polarity of the batteries is correct. Screw
the end cap [2] back onto the case [4]. The end cap is
equipped with a push-button [1]. Press the push-button to
set the light to 100% mode, Eco mode, flashing mode, or
SOS mode. The case [4] is additionally equipped with a
metal clip [5].
Cleaning and care:
Clean the product only with a dry lint-free cloth.
Environmental protection/disposal instructions:
Hand in the product only at a collection point for electrical
refuse. Batteries do not belong in household waste! Please
hand in batteries and/or the appliance via available
collection facilities. The disposal of old equipment does
not take place via the sales outlet.
Guarantee:
This product has a 3 year guarantee from the date of
purchase, for time and materials. This guarantee does not
apply to products which are used incorrectly, modified,
neglected (including normal wear), damaged by accident
or abnormal operating conditions, or are handled
incorrectly. For a claim under guarantee, the appliance
together with proof of purchase and a brief description of
the fault are to be sent to Mellert SLT. If there is no proof of
guarantee, repairs will be carried out only against payment.

• Pidä paristot poissa lasten käsistä, älä heitä niitä, älä
oikosulje äläkä avaa niitä.
• Jos ohjeita ei noudateta, paristot voi purkautua alle
loppujännitteen. Paristo voi silloin vuotaa. Mikäli
paristot ovat vuotaneet laitteessa, poista ne heti, jota
laite ei vahingoitu!
• Estä aineen joutuminen iholle, silmiin ja limakalvoille.
Jos kosketat paristosta vuotanutta nestettä, huuhtele
runsaalla vedellä ja / tai hakeudu lääkäriin!
• Vaihda kaikki paristot samalla kertaa ja käytä vain
saman tyyppisiä paristoja.

Käyttöönotto:
Irrota päätytulppa [2] lampusta ja aseta kaksi paristoa
[3] nuolen suuntaan koteloon [4]. Huomaa paristojen
napaisuus. Kiinnitä päätytulppa [2] takaisin koteloon [4].
Päätytulpassa on painokytkin [1], jolla voit valinta 100 %
tehon, virransäästötilan, vilkkuvalon tai hätävilkun (SOS).
Kotelossa [4] on myös metallikiinnike [5].
Puhdistaminen ja hoito:
Puhdista tuote kuivalla, nukattomalla kankaalla.
Ympäristönsuojelu / hävittämisohje:
Toimita tuote sähkö- ja elektroniikkaromun
vastaanottopisteeseen. Älä hävitä paristoja/akkuja
kotitalousjätteen mukana! Toimita paristot ja/tai laite
niille tarkoitettuun vastaanottopisteeseen. Tuotteen myyjä
ei hävitä vanhoja laitteita.
Takuu:
