QUICK-RELEASE CLAMP
Pull screw head away from clamp housing and pull “tail” through
housing. Cinch down clamp to hand-tight. Note: Housing should
be centered onto apron. Repeat clamp installation on opposite side.
Using a nut driver or torque wrench, tighten quick-release clamps
alternately and rmly to 60 in/lbs. of torque. Slide clamp “tail” back
through top of square eyelet.
Slide “tail” of quick-release clamp down through front square eyelet on
apron. Wrap “tail” underneath and around sewer main, then back up
through rear square eyelet.
CLAMP TAIL
Core appropriate sized hole into sewer main (4" core i.d. of 4.60" -
4.90" & 6" core i.d. of 6.60" - 6.90"). After making sure pipe surface
is clean and free of debris, wrap stainless steel apron and gasket
around sewer main, making sure internal ange of gasket is centered
in hole of cored pipe.
Loosen lateral inlet worm drive clamp. Insert lateral pipe into mouth
of inlet until it rests against the internal pipe stop. Tighten lateral inlet
worm drive clamp to 60 in/lbs. of torque.
