bothslotssimultaneously.Outputcurrentisadjustedautomaticallyaccordingtoinput

currenttoreachoptimalchargingsetting.ThisproductshallNOTbeusedwithother

batteriesnotspeciedinthismanual.

Automatic Current Adjustment

TheUCN1’sactualoutputcurrentdependsonthemaximumpowersuppliedfromthe

USB.Outputcurrentwillgetadjustedbasedonactualpowerbeinginputtedtothe

device.TheUCN1iscapableofoutputting1000mA,increasingitseciencywhile

shorteningchargingduration.

Battery Status Monitoring

Oncethebatteryisinserted,theUCN1willproceedwithainitiallowcurrenttestcharge

todiagnosebatterystatus.Afterthediagnosis,batterystatuswillbeshownasGood,

NormalorPoor.

Note: Re-insertthebatterywhen“Poor”appearsonscreentoavoidtheoddofpoor

batterycontact,replacethebatteryif“Poor”comesuponscreenconsistently.

Reverse Polarity and Anti-Short Circuit Protection

TheUCN1makesuseofthemechanicalreversepolarityprotection.Inserting

incompatible batteries or incorrect battery installation will prevent the initiation of the

chargingprocess.Theerrormessage“EEEE”willcomeupontheLCDdisplaywhena

shortcircuitedbatteryisinstalled.

Battery Recovery

TheUCN1willattempttorecoverover-dischargedbatterieswheninsertinginthe

chargingslot.Uponsuccessfulbatteryrecovery,theentirebatterylevelindicatorwill

ashtorepresentthatabatteryhasbeensuccessfullyrecovered.

Note: Thisfeatureonlyworkswithprotectedbatteries.

1.TheUCN1isonlycompatiblewithCanonLP-E6/LP-E6NandLP-E8camerabatteries.

DoNOTattempttochargeotherbatteries.

2.Moderateheatfromthisproductistobeexpectedduringthechargingprocess.This

isnormal.

3.Operatingtemperature:-10°to40°C,storagetemperature:-20°to60°C.

4.Carefullyreadalllabelsonthedevicetoensurebatteriesareinstalledcorrectly.

5.Childrenshouldbesupervisedbyanadultwhenusingthisproduct.
