Remove cable jacket.

SF/UTP

Select appropriate seal according to the cable diameter.

Slide screw cap and seal onto the cable. The seal

should be flush with the end of the cable jacket.

Pull back braid as shown. Remove foil and any cable

fillers ires . Untwist w back as far as seal and straighten.

Push splice element onto braid and seal. Trim off excess

braid material and cut conductors flush with the splice

element.

ATTENTION: Ensure no braid material is caught

b etween the key of the seal and slot of splicing element.

NOTES :

1. For reconnection, cut off the used cable end and repeat steps 2- 7.

2. must The seal be replaced when worn.

3. Connector may be re terminated 10 times with the same or larger cable conductor diameter.-

Align connector properly and push onto the housing

splice element.

While holding the connecting housing end firmly, twist

only the tightened lock nut until fully . Use of 13mm and

17mm open end wrenches may be used to fully seat the

o- ring gasket.
