• The open arms allow the operator to pass over cabling that

interferes with plug accessibility

• PCRT1 can be used “open” (unlocked) for copper patch

cord plugs

• PCRT1 can be used “closed” (locked) for fiber optic patch

cord connectors

• PCRT1 can be used by either right or left handed operators

OPERATION

1.If working with fiber optic patch cord connectors, apply desired

boots to the tool arms.

2.Place the arms on the fiber optic patch cord connector or copper

patch cord plug-latch (see figures below); the tool grip is

squeezed lightly to obtain a firm grip on the connector/plug.

3.Pulling the tool in a backwards direction will remove the

connector/plug from the module.

4.To install connector/plug, place connector/plug in arms, lightly

squeeze grip (tool will hold connector/plug-latch), and push

connector/plug into module with latch on the bottom.

PCRT1 is supplied with three different style

connector boots:

• (2) for LC/SC fiber optic patch cord connectors, color: black

• (2) for ST fiber optic patch cord connectors, color: black

• (1) for PVIQ copper patch cord plugs, color: off-white
