Instalación <ESPAÑOL>

Note:

• Before finally installing the unit, connect the

wiring temporarily, making sure it is all connect-

ed up properly, and the unit and the system work

properly.

• Use only the parts included with the unit to

ensure proper installation. The use of unautho-

rized parts can cause malfunctions.

• Consult with your nearest dealer if installation

requires the drilling of holes or other modifica-

tions of the vehicle.

• Install the unit where it does not get in the dri-

ver’s way and cannot injure the passenger if there

is a sudden stop, like an emergency stop.

• Before drilling any mounting holes always check

behind where you want to drill the holes. Do not

drill into the gas line, brake line, electrical wiring

or other important parts.

• To prevent noise, locate the DAB antenna cable

as far away as possible from power cords, speak-

er cables, radio antenna cable and other cords in

the vehicle. Also, when using with a mobile navi-

gation unit, locate the DAB antenna and antenna

cord as far away as possible from the GPS anten-

na and the navigation unit.

Inatalling the Antenna Unit

It is recommended that you install the antenna

unit in the center of the rear edge of the roof.

2. Make a hole in the roof, install the

antenna unit, and route the antenna

cable so it reaches the DAB antenna

input. (Fig. 3)

3. Drill a 14–14.5 mm diameter hole.

Note:

• Secure the antenna cable with the supplied clamp

where required.

• Install the antenna so it doesn’t protrude from the

total lengh/width of the car.

CAUTION

• A high degree of skill is required to install

the antenna unit, so have it installed by a

professional Pioneer installer.

Nota:

• Antes de finalizar la instalación de la unidad,

conecte el cableado temporariamente, asegurán-

dose de que todo se encuentra conectado apropi-

adamente, y la unidad y el sistema funcionan

apropiadamente.

• Utilice solamente las partes incluídas con la

unidad para asegurar una instalación adecuada.

El uso de partes no autorizadas puede ocasionar

fallas de funcionamiento.

• Si la instalación requiere del taladrado de orifi-

cios u otras modificaciones del vehículo, consulte

con su agente o concesionario más cercano a su

domicilio.

• Instale la unidad en donde no interfiera con el

conductor y no pueda lesionar al pasajero en caso

de una parada repentina, tal como una frenada de

emergencia.

• Antes de taladrar cualquier orificio de montaje

siempre compruebe lo que hay detrás en donde

desea taladrar los orificios. No taladre en la línea

de combustible, cableado eléctrico u otras partes

importantes.

• Para evitar ruidos, ubique el cable de la antena

DAB tan alejado como sea posible de los cables

de alimentación, cables de altavoces, cable de

antena de radio y otros cables en el vehículo.

También, cuando utiliza con una unidad de nave-

gación móvil, ubique la antena DAB y el cable

de antena tan alejado como sea posible de la

antena GPS y la unidad de navegación.

Instalación de la unidad de antena

Se recomienda instalar la unidad de antena en el

centro del borde trasero del techo. (Fig. 1)

encamine el cable de antena de

modo que alcance la entrada para

antena DAB. (Fig. 3)

3. Taladre un orificio de 14 a 14,5 mm de

diámetro.

Nota:

• Asegure el cable de antena con la abrazadera

suministrada en donde sea requerido.

• Instale la antena de modo que no se sobresalga del

largo/anchura total del vehículo.

PRECAUCION

• Para instalar la unidad de antena se requiere

de un alto grado de habilidad o pericia, de

modo que haga instalar la antena por un

instalador profesional de Pioneer.
