DESCRIPTION
CS-6HT60BS is a high-efficiency horn loudspeakers that provides
excellent speech reproduction and sound distribution for a wide scope of
indoor and outdoor applications. It is equipped with one 165 mm (6.5”)
LF speaker and a 25.4 mm (1”) HF compression driver, able to provide an
excellent speech intelligibility with tight dispersion, together with a good
quality background music reproduction.
CS-6HT60BS includes a transformer to operate on 100V and 70V
constant voltage systems with selectable power. In compliance with EN
54-24:2008, it includes a ceramic terminal block and a thermal fuse and
it is, therefore, suitable for the use in voice alarm systems.
The ABS casing complies to UL 94V0 standard and provides IP66
protection, which makes this units suitable for both indoor and outdoor
application in malls, exhibition centres, railway and bus stations, etc.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
[1] Mark on the ceiling or wall the three fixing points (A).
[2] Separate the bracket from the horn by unscrewing the bolts (B)
and secure it to the ceiling or wall. Note: choose an appropriate
fastening system for the wall type (no fastening system is provided
with the product). The fixing holes can accept 8-10mm screws or
bolts (C).
[3] Remove the top cover of the connection box (D) and insert the
speaker line cables into the PG cable glands (E). We suggest to use
a proper speaker cable with two insulated wires in a single jacket,
with diameter between 6mm and 8mm. If not used, close the last
cable gland with an unconnected piece of cable.
[4] On the transformer choose the right power to be sent to the
speaker (F). The printed power values are referred to a 100V line,
if you connect a 70V line you must consider half the power (see
technical specifications).
[5] Connect the speaker line wires to the ceramic terminal (G), taking
care to follow the +/- polarity.
[6] Close the top cover of the connection box (D) and tighten the PG
cable glands.
[7] Fix the horn loudspeaker to the bracket and aim it to the listening
area to be covered, then tighten the bolts (B).
