Makesurenottodischargeyourrechargeablebatterycompletely(alsoreferredtoasadeepdischarge).Deepdischargewillaﬀecttherechargeablebatteryperma-

nently.Adeep-dischargedbatterycanonlyberechargedinexceptionalcasesandwithspecialchargers.Contactyourbicycledealer.

Iftherechargeablebatteryorthecharger(orpartsofit)mustbereplaced,onlyuseoriginalspareparts.Contactyourbicycledealer.

Chargethebatteryatanambienttemperatureofapprox.20degreesCelsius(68degreesFahrenheit).Rechargingthebatteryattemperaturebelow0degreesCel-

sius(32Fahrenheit)willtakemuchlonger.Forthatreasonavoidrechargingthebatteryattemperaturesbelow0degreesCelsius(32Fahrenheit).Therefore,aftera

rideincoldweather,forexample,waituntilthebatteryhaswarmedupbeforestartingthecharging.

Donotdisposeofyourrechargeablebatteryinthenormalhouseholdtrash!Itmustbedisposedofaccordingtobatterydisposalregulations.Therefore,retailers

sellingnewrecharge-ablebatteriesmustprovidethecollectionofoldrechargeablebatteriesandappropriatedisposal.Ifyouareindoubtorifyouhaveanyques-

tions,thencontactyourbicycledealer.

Lithiumbatterieshavenomemoryeﬀect;theycanthereforebechargedatanytimewithoutaﬀectingbatterylife.
