• Springbackwilloccurafterthebendiscomplete.Thelevelofspringbackisdependentonthebendandthetubingmaterialbeingbent.Alwaysallow
compensationforspringbackwhenexecutingabend.

Intended Use
The Silverline Mini Pipe Bender is a 3-in-1 tube bending tool for use with 6, 8 and 10mm / ¼", 5/16" and 3/8" annealed tubing. Precision bends of up to
180° are produced using the angle references on the bending guide.
Unpacking Your Tool
• Carefullyunpackandinspectyournewtool.Familiariseyourselfwithallitsfeaturesandfunctions.
• Ensurethatallpartsofthetoolarepresentandingoodcondition.Ifanypartsaremissingordamaged,havesuchpartsreplacedbeforeattemptingto
use this tool.
Before Use
Note: ApplyasuitablegreasegenerouslytotheBendingGuide(2),BendingDie(3),andallsurfacesofthepipethatcomeintocontactwiththePipeBender.
Operation
WARNING: ALWAYSweareyeprotectionaswellassuitablegloveswhenworkingwiththistool.
Bending instructions
Note:Whenperformingmeasurements,the‘R’and‘L’marksontheBendingDie(3),denotewhetherthebendmeasurementwasperformedfromtheright
ortheleftside,inrelationtothePipeGuide(1).Alignthecorrespondingmarkwiththemeasurementmarkonthetube.
• PositiontheShortHandle(4)clearofobstructiontothetubepath(Fig.I).
• With the pipe bender upright, place the tube in the size corresponding groove underneath, and parallel to, the Pipe Guide.
• SlowlybringtheShortHandledownwardstoperformthebend.Thebendiscompletewhenthe‘0’markingontheBendingDiealignswiththerequired
angle on the Bending Guide (2).
Note: Excessive pressure on the Bending Die may damage soft tubing.
Maintenance
Cleaning
• Keepyourtoolcleanatalltimes.Dirtanddustwillcauseinternalpartstowearquickly,andshortenthedevice’sservicelife.Cleanthebodyofyour
machine with a soft brush, or dry cloth.
Storage
• Store this tool carefully in a secure, dry place out of the reach of children.

surl'anglerequissurleguidedecintrage(2).
