SoundTube speakers must b e installed b y a p r ofessional audio

installer/contractor. For safety and for optimum audio performance,

installer must follow all directions issued by SoundTube Entertainment.

Warning

IPD-XT850

1. Attach inground/security

brackets to speaker base

using stainless-steel bolts.

4. Plug Cat5 cables into

coupling. No wire nuts

needed. Tighten tting to

seal.

2. Field route Cat5 cable

from the switch to each

IPD-XT850, direct burial

cable or use of conduit is

required. The cable may

need to be terminated after

routing the cable through

the compression tting of

the liquid-tight RJ45 coupling.

Tighten tting to seal.

3. Dig a hole that is 15”

wide and 5” deep. Place

speaker base ino the hole in

the ground with the top rim

of the base at ground level.

Back-ll dirt into hole. For

added security, cement

security brackets into ground.

5. Set speaker enclosure on

speaker base. Use tamper-

resistant stainless-steel

screws to attach

speaker to base (driver

tip and screws provided).

6. Done!
