Start up
Read the security advices on page !
Remove the two transport locking screws at the bottom of the Performer s.
Keep the transport locking screws safe. For transport screw the transport locking screws back in.
Make sure that the selected mains voltage of the Performer s is according to the mains-
voltage of your region.
Make sure that the mains switch on the rear of the Performer s is set to O (O=O/On = I).
Connect the supplied power cord to the Performer s and to an appropriate mains socket
outlet. Be sure to connect the device to a main socket outlet with a protective grounding
connection!
If the supplied power cord does not match your mains socket outlet, please contact your dealer.
Turn o all devices you wish to connect to the Performer s.
If you own an SPL device supporting AMP CTL output(s) you can trigger standby and operation.
Therefore connect the AMP CTL output of the SPL device with a mono mini jack cable to the AMP
CTL input of the Performer s.
Mini jack cable is not included in the scope of delivery. You may also use other V trigger controller.
The Performer s is in operation mode when a switching voltage of Volt DC is applied to
the AMP CTL input. As soon as the Volt DC is removed, the Performer s switches back to
standby mode.
Use a mini jack cable where the tip is plus and the sleeve is minus.
Connect the outputs of your preamplier to the inputs (INPUT) of the Performer s.
Please use appropriate audio cables (XLR or RCA).
Audio cables are not included in the scope of delivery.
Connect the Performer s with speaker cables to your speakers.
Speaker cables are not included in the scope of delivery.
