LP3982ispin-andpackage-compatiblewithMaxim's

MAX8860.TheLM3982isalsoavailableinthesmall

footprintWSONpackage.

TheLP3982suitsbattery-poweredapplications

becauseofitsshutdownmode(1nAtypical),low

quiescentcurrent(90μAtypical),andLDOvoltage

(120mVtypical).Thelowdropoutvoltageallowsfor

moreutilizationofabattery’savailableenergyby

operatingclosertoitsend-of-lifevoltage.TheLP3982

device'sPMOSoutputtransistorconsumesrelatively

nodrivecurrentcomparedtoPNPLDOregulators.
