Thank you for purchasing TOA’s Speaker Rigging Frame.
Please carefully follow the instructions in this manual to ensure long, trouble-free use of your equipment.
1. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
•Beforeinstallationoruse,besuretocarefullyread
alltheinstructionsinthissectionforcorrectand
safe operation.
•Besuretofollowalltheprecautionaryinstructions
in this section, which contain important warnings
and/orcautionsregardingsafety.
•Afterreading,keepthismanualhandyforfuture
reference.
•Referallinstallationworktothedealerfromwhom
thespeakerwaspurchased.Installationforying
requiresextensivetechnicalknowledgeand
experience. The speaker may fall off if incorrectly
installed,resultinginpossiblepersonalinjury.
•FlyingPrecautions
Besuretofollowtheinstructionsbelow.Otherwise,
the suspension wires or belts may be off or snap
andthespeakermayfalloff,causingpersonal
injury.
·Checktoconrmthatthesuspensionwiresand
beltsarestrongenoughtowithstandthespeaker
load.
·Theconnectorsofthesuspensionwiresandbelts
mustbesecurelylinkedwiththoseofthespeaker.
·Allpartsandcomponents(suchasenclosures,
metalpieces,andscrews)mustbefreefromany
deformation,crack,andcorrosion.
·Besuretousescrewssuppliedwiththeoptional
yinghardwarewheninstallingthespeakerusing
suchhardware.
•Installthespeakeronlyinalocationthatcan
structurallysupporttheweightofthespeakerand
the mounting bracket. Doing otherwise may result
inthespeakerfallingdownandcausingpersonal
injuryand/orpropertydamage.
•Sincetheframeisdesignedforindooruse,donot
installitoutdoors.Ifinstalledoutdoors,theaging
of parts causes the speaker to fall off, resulting in
personalinjury.Also,whenitgetswetwithrain,
thereisadangerofelectricshock.
•Owingtothespeaker’ssizeandweight,besure
that at least two persons are available to install the
speaker.Failuretodosocouldresultinpersonal
injury.
•Donotuseothermethodsthanspeciedtomount
theframe.Extremeforceisappliedtotheframe
andthespeakercouldfalloff,possiblyresultingin
personalinjuries.
•Usenutsandboltsthatareappropriateforthe
ceiling’sstructureandcomposition.Failuretodoso
may cause the speaker to fall, resulting in material
damageandpossiblepersonalinjury.
•Tighteneachnutandboltsecurely.Ensurethatthe
framehasnoloosejointsafterinstallationtoprevent
accidentsthatcouldresultinpersonalinjury.
•Usethespeciedspeakerincombination.Doing
otherwise may cause the speaker to fall off, resulting
inpersonalinjury.
•Donotmountthespeakerinlocationsexposedto
constantvibration.Theframecanbedamagedby
excessive vibration, potentially causing the speaker
tofall,whichcouldresultinpersonalinjury.
•Avoidinstallingthespeakerinindoorswimming
facilitiesthatarenotwellventilated.Insuch
locations the frame may be vulnerable to corrosion,
eventually allowing the speaker to fall resulting in
personalinjury.
•Avoidtouchingtheframe’ssharpmetaledgeto
preventinjury.
•Havetheframecheckedperiodicallybytheshop
fromwhereitwaspurchased.Failuretodosomay
resultincorrosionordamagetotheframethatcould
cause the speaker to fall, possibly causing personal
injury.

ifmishandled,couldresultindeathorserious
personalinjury.
