Thank you for your purchase of the Ambient Weather WS-25 Wireless 8-Channel Floating Pool and
Spa Thermometer with Indoor Temperature and Humidity with Backlit Display. The following user
guide provides step by step instructions for installation, operation and troubleshooting. To download

2 Getting Started
Note: The power up sequence must be performed in the order shown in this section (insert
batteries in the pool float or transmitter(s) first, Display Console second).
The WS-24 weather station consists of a display console (receiver), and a pool float (remote
transmitter).

2.2 Floating Pool and Spa Thermometer
Note: Do not use rechargeable batteries. They tend to have a lower operating voltage, do not have
a wide temperature range, and do not last as long as non-rechargeable batteries.
The solar panel does not charge the batteries, so rechargeable batteries are not needed or
recommended.
We recommend fresh alkaline batteries for outdoor temperature ranges between -4 °F and 140 °F and
fresh lithium batteries for outdoor temperature ranges between -40 °F and 140 °F.
