MOJI LANTE RN

Battery Life: Your battery life will vary depending on:

◆ Brand and freshness of batteries

◆ Length of time the lantern has been off

◆ Temperature

◆ Settings used

IMPORTANT: Follow all instructions carefully. Any

modifications of this product will void the warranty.

Misuse of the lantern may cause the user harm.

BATTERIES (Illustrations 1, 2, 3, and 4)

The Moji requires three AAA batteries. Alkaline,

lithium or rechargeable batteries can be used.

◆ Do not mix old and new batteries or different

battery types

◆ Dispose of used batteries properly

◆ Remove batteries during storage and transport

OPERATION

◆Install batteries as shown (Illustrations 1, 2, 3, and 4)

◆ Power On/Off: Single click (Illustration 5)

◆ Brightness Level Setting: Hold the switch down

while powered. The Moji lantern will begin to dim.

Release the switch when desired level is reached

(Illustrations 6 and 7).

◆The Moji lantern will remember the selected

brightness level for 12 hours

CONDITIONS OF USE

The Moji is waterproof rated to IPX 4 (this does not

include salt spray or high-alkalinity fluids). See CARE AND

CLEANING for instructions on how to dry your lantern.

◆ Do not expose to temperatures above 60 °C (140 °F)

◆ Battery power and life will be diminished at very

cold temperatures

CARE AND CLEANING

Ensure that your lantern is clean and dry before and

after each use and before storage. DO NOT STORE A

WET LANTERN. Remove the batteries and allow the

housing to air dry thoroughly.

◆ Do not artificially heat your lantern to dry it

◆ If your lantern has been exposed to salt water,

it must be rinsed with fresh water, dried and

re-assembled to prevent corrosion

◆ Use a mild soap and freshwater rinse to clean

◆ Do not clean with a washing machine, dishwasher

or high-pressure hose

◆ Do not scrub with abrasive substances or surfaces

◆ If the battery contacts are corroded, remove the

corrosion by sanding lightly with a fine-grain

emery cloth

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the lantern does not work:

◆ Check that the batteries are oriented correctly and

touching the contacts

◆ Replace the batteries

◆ Check the contacts and connections for corrosion

and clean if necessary

◆ Work the switch several times

LIMITED WARRANTY

We warrant for one year from purchase date and only

to the original retail buyer (Buyer) that our products

(Products) are free from defects in material and

workmanship. For lanterns our warranty is for three years.

If Buyer discovers a covered defect, Buyer should return

the Product to the place of purchase. In the event that this

is not possible, return the Product to us at the address

provided. The Product will be repaired or replaced at our

discretion. That is the extent of our liability under this

Warranty and, upon expiration of the applicable warranty

period, all such liability shall terminate. We reserve the

right to require proof of purchase for all warranty claims.

Warranty Exclusions:

We do not warranty Products against normal wear and

tear (such as ski edge cuts and abrasions, outsole wear,

etc.), unauthorized modifications or alterations, improper

use, improper maintenance, accident, misuse, negligence,

damage, or if the Product is used for a purpose for which

it was not designed. This Warranty gives you specific

rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from

state to state. Except for expressly stated in this Warranty,

we shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or

other types of damages arising out of, or resulting from

the use of Product. This Warranty is in lieu of all other

warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited

to, implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a

PILES (Illustrations 1, 2, 3, et 4)

La lanterne Moji fonctionne avec trois piles AAA.

Vous pouvez utiliser des piles alcalines, au lithium, ou

rechargeables.

◆ Ne pas mélanger piles neuves et piles usagées ou

différents types de piles.

◆ Jeter les piles usagées dans un conteneur approprié.

◆ Ôter les piles pendant les périodes de stockage et

de transport.

FONCTIONNEMENT

◆ Insérer les piles comme indiqué (Illustrations 1,

2, 3, et 4)

◆ Réglage de l’intensité : Maintenir l’interrupteur

L’intensité lumineuse de la lanterne Moji diminue

progressivement. Relâcher l’interrupteur dès le

niveau d’intensité souhaité est atteint (Illustrations

6 et 7).

◆ La lanterne Moji mémorise l’intensité sélectionnée

pendant 12 heures.

CONDITIONS D’UTILISATION

La Moji est conforme à la norme d’étanchéité IPX 4

(ceci exclut les aspersions de sel ou de fluides à forte

alcalinité). Voir ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE pour

savoir comment sécher votre lanterne.

◆ Ne pas exposer à des températures supérieures

à 60°C.

◆ Par températures très basses, la capacité et la durée

de vie des piles diminuent.

ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE

Assurez-vous que votre lanterne est propre et sèche

avant et après chaque utilisation et avant chaque

période de stoc kage. NE PAS STO CKER UNE

LANTERNE HUMIDE. Ôter les piles et laisser sécher

complètement le boîtier à l’air libre.

◆ Ne pas chauffer votre lanterne par des moyens

artificiels pour la sécher.

◆ Si votre lanterne a été exposée à l’eau de mer, vous

devez la rincer à l’eau claire et la laisser sécher

comme indiqué pour empêcher la corrosion.

◆ Pour nettoyer, utiliser un savon doux puis rincer à

l’eau claire.

◆ Ne pas nettoyer au moyen d’un lave-linge, d’un

lave-vaisselle ou d’un jet haute pression

◆ Ne pas gratter avec des substances ou des surfaces

abrasives.

◆ Si les contacts des piles sont corrodés, ôter les

traces de corrosion en ponçant légèrement avec

une toile émeri à grains fins.

EN CAS DE DYSFONCTIONNEMENT

Si la lanterne ne fonctionne pas :

◆ Vérifier si les piles sont correctement insérées et si

elles touchent les contacts.

◆ Remplacer les piles

◆ Repérer toute trace de corrosion sur les contacts et

les connexions et nettoyer si besoin.

◆ Tester l’interrupteur à plusieurs reprises.

◆ Helligkeitseinstellung: Halten Sie die Taste im

eingeschalteten Zustand gedrückt . Die Moji-

Laterne wird gedimmt. Lassen Sie den Schalter

los, wenn die gewünschte Helligkeit erreicht ist

(Abbildungen 6 und 7).

◆ Die Moji-Laterne speichert die zuletzt ausgewählte

Helligkeitsstufe für eine Dauer von 12 Stunden.

EINSATZBEDINGUNGEN

Die Moji ist wasserdicht gemäss IPX 4. Dies gilt

nicht für salzhaltiges Wasser oder stark alkalische

Flüssigkeiten. Anleitungen zum Trocknen Ihrer Laterne

finden Sie unter .PFLEGE UND REINIGUNG

Setzen Sie die Laterne keinen Temperaturen über 60

°C aus.

Batterieleistung und Batterielebensdauer werden

durch kalte Temperaturen herabgesetzt.

PFLEGE UND REINIGUNG

Stellen Sie vor der Auf bewahrung sicher, dass die

Laterne sauber und trocken ist. BEWAHREN SIE

Wasser, um die Laterne zu säubern.

◆ Waschen Sie die Laterne keinesfalls in einer

Waschmaschine, einem Geschirrspüler oder mit

einem Hochdruckreiniger.

◆ Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen keine Scheuermittel.

◆ Im Falle von korrodierten Kontakten reinigen Sie

diese mit einem feinkörnigen Schmirgelpapier.

FEHLERBEHEBUNG

Wenn die Laterne nicht funktioniert:

◆ Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Batterien richtig

eingelegt sind und die Kontakte berühren.

◆ Tauschen Sie die Batterien aus.

◆ Überprüfen Sie die Kontakte auf Korrosion und

säubern Sie sie gegebenenfalls.

◆ Betätigen Sie mehrmals den Schalter.

Laternen beträgt drei Jahre ab Kaufdatum. Entdeckt
