1. Intended Use
This battery-operated pump is designed for quick and easy
transfer of a wide range of uids. The pump will t 20 Litre
drums/buckets and is self-priming. For use with Water,
Gasoline, Diesel, Light Oils,Kerosene, Diesel Exhaust Fluid
(DEF/ Adblue), Antifreeze, Windshield Washer Fluid, Mild
Detergents & Agricultural Chemicals.
Any other application beyond the conditions established for
use will be considered misuse. Draper Tools accepts no
responsibility for improper use of this product.

Important: Read all the Health and Safety instructions
before attempting to operate, maintain or repair this product.
Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or
damage to the user or the product.
WARNING!
•
DO NOT run the pump dry.
•
DO NOT use with acids, acetone, benzene, cresol,
concentrated caustic soda, liquid thinner or other
solvents.
•
DO NOT use with deteriorated or contaminated liquids or
fuels.
•
DO NOT use the pump for hot liquids above 40°C.
•
DO NOT operate the pump for longer than 15 minutes
without a 30-minute rest.
•
DO NOT turn the pump upside down after use.
•
ALWAYS ensure the pump is turned ‘OFF’ and liquid has
been drained from the pump before cleaning.
•
DO NOT use abrasives or solvents to clean the pump.
•
ALWAYS wear suitable protective clothing and eye
protection.
• Wear suitable protective gloves to avoid repeated and
prolonged contact of uids with the skin.
• Keep the work area clean and dry. DO NOT use in damp or
wet areas.
•
DO NOT modify the pump and DO NOT use for a purpose
it was not intended.
• Before using the pump check for damaged parts and that
it operates correctly. Replace any damage parts
immediately.
• Keep the pump away from heat and sharp edges. Before
each use check the pump for wear and ensure all
connections are secure.

4. Identication
Carefully remove the product from the packaging and
examine it for any signs of damage that may have occurred
during shipment. If any part is damaged or missing, do not
attempt to use the product. Please contact the Draper
Helpline; contact details can be found at the back of this
manual.

1. Unscrew the battery compartment

.
2. Fit 2 × D batteries – ensure the correct +/- orientation.
− Refer to the guide marked on the battery
compartment.
3. Ret the battery compartment securely.
6. OperatingthePump
1. Insert the end of the suction tube

into the
container/drum with the uid to be transferred from.
2. Place the end of the nozzle
3
into the container
that the uid is being transferred into.
3. Slide the switch

to the ‘ON’ position to start
dispensing the uid.
7. Maintenance,StorageandDisposal
• ALWAYS ensure the pump is turned ‘OFF’ and liquid
has been drained before cleaning or carrying out any
maintenance.
• DO NOT abrasives or solvents to clean the pump.
• Store the nozzle in the holder after use.
• Remove the batteries if being stored for a prolonged
period.
• At the end of its working life, dispose of the product
responsibly and in line with local regulations. Recycle
where possible.
•
DO NOT dispose of this product with domestic waste;
most local authorities provide appropriate recycling
facilities.
• DO NOT burn or mutilate batteries; this may release
toxic or corrosive substances.
