LED ALLARME c lampeggiante in rosso. Esso è previsto per l’uso all’interno di luoghi asciutti in edifici, macchine e roulotte. L’ali-
mentazionedi correnteavvieneo conl’alimen-tatore 12VDC collegatoad unapresa da 230V –50Hz oppureconun collegamento
alla rete di bordo da 12 V DC di un veicolo o di un camper. L’apparecchio è destinato al solo uso privato. Qualsiasi altro utilizzo o

Assicuratevi che il suono dell’allarme non venga emesso troppo nelle vicinanze del-l’udito! Altrimenti esiste il pericolo di seri danni
all’udito!
Trattare il cavo di collegamento con attenzione. Installarlo in modo che non è possibile danneggiarlo e che non presenti pericoli per la
caduta.Altrimenti esisteilpericolo divita, feriteed incendio.

Indicatela datadellamessa infunzione ancheal puntoprevisto sullapagina delallarme gas.
Osservatela seguenteprocedura,quando l’al-larmegas segnalauna fugadi gasoppure quandoavvertite odoredi gas:
Nonaccendere unaluce,spegnere immediatamentetabacchi, candele,ecc. accese.
In caso di una fuga di gas non dovete accendere o spegnere apparecchi elettrici (interruttori della luce, torce, campanelli, telefono,
interfonoed altriutilizzatorielettrici)!
Nonstaccare l’allarmegasdall’alimentazione.
Avvertite immediatamentetutte lepersone inpericolo efate inmodo chequeste siportano insalvo.
Interrompetela fornituradigas dallavalvola principalee /o allavalvola dellabottiglia.
Apritefinestre eportee aeratebene lastanza, lacasa, laroulotte ecc.
Dovete tenere conto che alcuni gas (Propano, Butano) sono più pesanti ed altri (Metano) più leggeri dell’aria circostante. Indirizzate
l’ariadurante l’aerazionesecondole proprietàdel gasfuoriuscito.
In caso di ripetute fughe di gas dovete informare il fornitore dell’energia. Non usate il telefono per mettervi in contatto oppure altri
apparecchielettrici nellazonadella fugadi gas.
Fateriparare lacausadella fuoriuscitadi gassolamente dapersonale qualificatoe certificato.
Ilrilevatore digas èadatto all'usoin ambientiinterninei qualipotrebbero verificarsifughe digas.Nella sceltadel luogodi montaggiooccorre
tenerepresente cheincaso diuna fuoriuscitadi gasil segnaleacustico diallarme deveessere benudibile.
In casodi perditedi gasi segnalatoripossono darel’allarme solo,quando vengonoraggiunti dalgas stesso.Tuttoquello cheimpedisce cheil
gas entri nel carter, potrebbe ritardare oppure addirittura impedire l’allarme. Scegliete un punto di montaggio nelle vicinanze
dell‘apparecchio chefunziona a gas, ma nonpiù lontano di 4 metri (gas liquidi) metri (metano, ). Assicuratevie / o 6
che la presadi correnteverso l’apparecchio direte da12 V DCsi trovi almassimo 2,2m distante dalpunti di montaggiodel allarmegas. Per
rilevaregas dicittà,gas naturaleemetano, ilpuntodi montaggiosideve trovarepiùalto possibileallaparete. Dovrebbetrovarsicirca 15-30
cmal disottodella soffittadellastanza. Inogni casoaldi sopradell’apertura superioredella portao dellafinestra.Questi gassono piùleggeri
dell’aria e per questo salgono dal basso in alto. Per rilevare Propano e Butano, il punto di montaggio deve trovarsi in basso sulla parete.
Dovrebbe trovarsicirca 15- 30cm aldi sopradel pavimento.I gasliquidi sonopiù pesantidell’aria, scendonosul pavimentoe sidiffondono
sudi esso .

Nelle vicinanze di sostanze come prodotti per la pulitura, detergenti, trementina, paraffina, benzina, esalazioni di gas, prodotti per
lucidare,ecc.
Assicurateviche duranteilcollegamento dell’alimentazionee duranteil montaggionon visia tensione.
Utilizzatel’allarme gassolocon collegamentoad un’alimentazionea 12 V DC.Perquestoorganizzate ilcollegamento:
ad un apparecchio direte 12 V DC (contenutonella fornitura) oppure ad un’alimentazione di bordo da12 V DC diuna macchina, una
roulotteoppure diunabarca.
In caso di alimentazione elettrica di bordo separarel'alimentatore [8] dal cavo di connessione[9] e collegare la linea tratteggiata con
+12V el'altralinea aterra (-).In alternativa,può esserefornito uncavo dicollegamento di2 mcon spinae trefoli.
Inserire il connettore dell'alimentatore 12 V CC [8] nella presa 12 V CC [5] nella parte inferiore dell'alloggiamento.
Primadi collegarela correntedi retead unapparecchio direte da12 VDC, dovetecontrollare chela correntesia di230 V~ 50Hz.
Nonutilizzare unapresada tavolao uncavo diprolunga, inquanto essipotrebbero causareun'interruzione dell'alimentazioneelettrica.
Dopo alcuni secondi il rilevatore di gas emette un allarme acustico (autotest).
Staccateil supportodimontaggio [1]dal retrodel carterverso ilbasso.
Marcateil puntodimontaggio usandoi duefori inferioridel supporto.
Fissateil supportohcon leviti difissaggio edi tasselliforniti sulpunto dimontaggio sceltoe marcato.Non serrarele vitieccessivamente!
Inseritel’allarme gasdall’altonel supportodi montaggio
Se l’alimentazione di corrente è stata allacciata correttamente, viene eseguito un autotest: L’allarme gas emette alcuni suoni d’allarme
molto alti e contemporaneamente lampeggia il LED ALLARME [3] sulla parte frontale del car-ter. Dopo il POWER LED verde [4] indica il
funzionamento.
Quando sidisconnette ilrilevatore digas dall'alimentazioneelettrica elo siriconnette, ildispositivo eseguedi nuovoun autotest.In talmodo
vienegarantito ilcorrettofunzionamento deldispositivo.
L’allarme gasrileva la fuga di gascon il sensore.Se la concentrazione di gassul sensore superaun limite preimpostato, viene segnalatala
fuga di gas: IlLED ALLARME rosso [3] lampeggiae il forte suono d’allarme viene emesso. Questo succedeprima che si verifichiil rischio di
un'esplosione.
L’allarmecontinua, finoaquando laconcentrazione digas èscesa sottoil limitereimpostato.
Usateun accendinoagas pereseguire iltest difunzionamento delallarme digas.
Fatefuoriuscire gasdall’accendino,tenendolo nellavicinanza dell’aperturainferiore olaterale delsensore [6].
Fate in modo che non sia accesa la fiamma. L’allarme gas rileva la fuga di gas con il sensore. Se la concentrazione di gas sul sensore
supera un limite preimpostato, viene segnalata la fuga di gas: Il LED ALLARME rosso [3] lampeggia e il forte suono d’allarme viene
emesso.
Non fate fuoriuscire dell’altro gas dall’accendino, appena viene segnalata la fuoriuscita di gas. L’allarme continua, fino a quando la
concentrazionedi gasèscesa sottoil limitereimpostato.
L'applicazionedi metodidiversida quelliqui descrittipuò condurrea risultatinon corretti.
Per la vostra sicurezza l’apparecchio esegue un autocontrollo. I possibili errori vengono indicati dal lampeggio del LED-Errori [2] e da un
contemporaneo suono dell’apparecchio. Queste indicazioni di errori possono essere provocati anche dal ambiente oppure da un problema
internodell’apparecchio.
Controllate,in casodiindicazione diun errore,prima:
Sela temperaturaambienteè aldi fuoridel campoprevisto (-10°Cfino a+40°C).
Se l’avaria è stata provocata da prodotti chimici come p.es. un alta concentrazione di acido oppure alcool nell’aria. Se non si riesce a
trovareniente, provatel’apparecchioin un‘altrastanza. Selì nonvi èuna segnalazioned’errore, ilproblema èl’ambiente.
Sel’indicazione d’erroreèsempre attiva,esiste unproblema interno:
L’allarmegas haunddanno interno
L’allarmegas èusuratodopo unesercizio conuna duratadi ca.5 anni.
Inquesti casisidovrebbe sostituirel’allarme gas.
Assicurateviche durantelamanutenzione epulizia nonvi siatensione sull‘allarmegas!

The gas alarm indicates a leakage of methane, propane or butane gas from appliances, pipes, etc. with a high-frequency alarm
sound anda flashingred AlarmLED c.It isintended foruse indry areasinside buildings,vehicles andcaravans. Thepower supplyis
either from thesupplied 12 VDC mains adapter con-nectedto the 230V ~ 50Hz mains electricity orby connection tothe 12 VDC
on-board power supply system of a car or caravan. The device is for private use only. Any other use or modification of the device
constitutes improperuse and posesa serious riskof accident. Themanufacturer is notliable for damage causedby improper useor
incorrectoperation ofthedevice.
Substances such as cleaning detergent, washingpowder, terpentine, paraffin, gasoline,vapours of gases, polishes etc. mayaffect

When a gas leakage occurs, there is a possibility of smelling gas prior to the device giving an alarm. In this case, leave the

Makesure thatthealarm signalis nottriggered closeto theears. Thiscan causeserious damageto thehearing.
Handle the connecting cable with care. Install it so that it cannot get damaged and does not create a stumbling hazard.

Avoid anyother operatiosthat mayaffect thefunction ofthe gasalarm.

Thegas leakmust onlybe dealtwith bya qualifiedand authorizedexpert.
The gasalarm is intended for indooruse where gas leakage might happen.When selecting the installation position,keep in mind
thatthe alarmsignal mustbe easilyheard inthe caseof gasleakage.
Whenthere is anescape ofgas, thegas detectorcan only givethe alarmif itis reached bytheescapinggas.Anythingwhichprevents
gasfrom enteringthe alarmhousing can resultin thealarm beinggiven onlyafter adelay ornot atall.Selectaninstallationposition
that isas close as possibleto the gas appliance,but not farther away than4 m (liquid gases)or 6 m (methane,see illustration B).
Make sure that the mains socket for connection of the 12 V DC mains adapter is located max. 2.2 m away from the installation
position of the gas alarm. To detect town, natural and methane gas, the installation position should be as far up on the wall as
possible. Thegas alarm shouldbe mounted 15-30 cmbelow the roomceiling and mustbe higher than thehighest door orwindow
opening. Town, natural and methanegas are lighter than air and therefore rise.To detect propane and butane gas, choose a low
installation positionon the wall. Itshould be 15-30 cmabove the floor. Liquid gasesare heavier than airand therefore sink tothe
floorand spreadfrom there(see illustrationB).

Vand theother lineto ground( ). Alternatively,a 2m connectingcable isavailable.
Plugthe connectorof themains adapter[8] intothe 12V socket[5] onthe bottomside ofthegasalarm.
Before connecting the 12 V DC power pack to the mains, make sure that the mains current is
230V ~50 Hz andin accordancewith requirements.Do not useany typeof tabletopsocket or extensioncable,sincethesecan
causeinterruptions inthe powersupply.
Thegas alarmsounds withina fewseconds (self-test).
Removethe mountingbracket [1]from therear sideof thecasing bysliding itdownwards.
Markthe installationposition withthe aidof thetwo roundholes inthe mountingbracket .
Installthe mounting bracketin the chosenand markedposition using thefastening screwsand wall plugssupplied with thegas
alarm.Do notovertighten!
Pushthe gasalarm flushfrom aboveonto themounting bracket.
Once the powersupply has been connected properly, an automatic self-testis carried out: the gas alarm emitsseveral loud alarm
signals andat the same timethe red ALARM LED [3] onthe front of thecasing flashes. The green POWERLED [4] then lightsup to
indicate thatthe device isready for operation. Ifthe 12 V DCpower supply has beendisconnected and then re-established,the gas
alarmwill conducta self-testagain. Thisfunction assuresthat thegas alarmis inproper operationwhen inuse.
Thegas alarm detectsa gas leakwith the sensor.If theconcentration of gasat the sensorexceeds the pre-setsensitivity thresholdof
thegas alarm, thealarm responds: thered ALARM LED[3] flashesand the loudalarm signal isemitted. Thiswill happen beforeany
riskof explosion.
Thealarm continuesuntil thegas concentrationfalls backto belowthe pre-setsensitivity level.
Usea gaslighter totest thefunction ofthe gasalarm.
Allowgas toescape fromthe gaslighter directlynext tothe loweror sidesensor opening[6].
Make sure thatthere is no flame on the lighter. The gas alarmdetects the gas with the sensor. If the gasconcentration at the
sensorexceeds the pre-setsensitivity threshold,the alarmresponds: the redALARM LED [3]flashes andthe loudalarm signal is
emitted.
Do not allow any more gas to escape from the lighter once the gas alarm has responded. The alarm continues until the gas
concentrationfalls backto belowthe pre-setsensitivity level.
Theapplication ofmethods otherthan describedmay leadto falseconclusions.

Het gasalarmsignaleert een gasuitstroming vanmethaan- evenals propaan-en butaangas uit apparaten,leidingen enz. met eengeluid in
een hoge frequentie en een rood knipperende ALARM LED. Het is bedoeld voor gebruik in droge binnenruimtes in gebouwen, auto’s en
caravans. De voeding geschiedt ofwel met de meegeleverde 12 V DC-adapter aangesloten op de netstroom van 230 V~50 Hz of door
middel van aansluiting op het 12 V DC-boordnet van een personenauto of caravan. Het apparaat is bedoeld voor privé gebruik. Ledere
wijziging of ieder verderstrekkend gebruik van het apparaat is niet doelmatig en houdt een aanzienlijk ongevallenrisico in. Indien

Montagelocatieselecteren
Het gasalarm is geschikt voor gebruik in binnenruimtes, waar gas zou kunnen ontsnappen. Houd er bij de keuze van de montagelocatie
rekeningmee dathet alarmsignaalin gevalvan eengaslek goedhoorbaar moetzijn.
Bijgaslekkages kunnengasmelders alleen alarmgeven wanneerhet uitstromendegas henook bereikt.Alles wathet gaseraan hindert,in de
behuizing tedringen, kan ertoe leidendat het alarm vertraagd ofhelemaal niet actief wordt.Kies de montageplek zo dichtmogelijk bij het
gastoestel, in géén geval verder dan 4 m (vloeibaar gas) resp. 6 m (methaan, zie afbilding B) daarvan verwijderd. Waarborg dat de
contactdoos voorde aansluiting vande 12 V DCnetadapter max. 2,2 mvan de montageplaats vanhet gasalarm verwijderdis. Selecteer de
montageplaats voorde registratie vanstads-, aard- en methaangaszo hoog mogelijkaan de muur. Dezedient zich opeen hoogtevan 15-
30 cmbeneden het kamerplafond te bevinden. In iedergeval echter boven de hoogste deur-of raamopening. Deze gassen zijn lichterdan
luchten stijgendaarom vanbeneden naarboven.Selecteer demontageplaats voorde registratievan propaan-en butaangas benedenaan de
muur.Deze dient zich opeen hoogte van 15 -30 cm boven devloer te bevinden.Vloeibare gassen zijnzwaarder dan lucht,zakken naar de
vloeren breidenzich daaruit (zieafbilding B).
Buitengebouwen bijv.voor debewaking vanopen flessenkasten.
Afgescheiden plekken (bijv. in kasten of achter gordijnen) die in geval van uitstromend gas de alarmactivering zouden kunnen
blokkeren.
Directnaast hetfornuis.
Directboven eenwastafel ofafvoer.
Naasteen deur,raam, ventilator,airco enz.
In bereikenwaar de luchtwaar de temperatuurbeneden -10°C daalt, boven50°C kan stijgenof waar de luchtvochtigheid boven95%

In de omgeving van substanties zoals reinigingsmiddelen, wasmiddelen, terpentijn, paraffine, benzine, gasuitwasemingen,
polijstmiddelenenz.
Zorgervoor datde stroomtoevoertijdens deaansluiting vande stroomverzorgingen demontage onderbrokenis.
Gebruikhet gasalarm uitsluitendwanneer het isaangesloten opeen 12V DC stroomvoorziening.Sluit hetdaarom aanop ofwel
denetadapter 12V DC(in delevering inbe-grepen)of de12 VDC boordstroomvoorzieningvan eenautoofcaravan.
Bij eenboordstroomvoeding koppelt u het voedingsapparaat [8]los van de aansluitkabel [9]en sluit u de gearceerde leiding
aan op +12 V en de andere leiding op de aarding (-). Als alternatief is er een 2 m lange aansluitkabel met stekker en
aansluitdradenverkrijgbaar.
Sluit de aansluitstekker van het 12 V DC voedingsapparaat [8] aan op de 12 V DC-bus [5] aan de onderzijde van de
behuizing.
Waarborg vóórde aansluiting vaneen netapparaat 12 Volt datde netvoeding volgensde voorschriften met 230V ~ 50 Hzis
uitgerust! Gebruik geen verdeeldozen of verlengkabels, aangezien deze onderbrekingen bij de stroomvoorziening kunnen
veroorzaken.
Na enkele seconden weerklinkt het alarmsignaal van het gasalarm (zelftest).
Trekde montagehouder[1] naarbeneden losvande achterzijdevan debehuizing.
Kenmerkde montageplaatsmet behulpvan debeide rondegaten inde montagehouder.
Bevestig de montagehouder met de bijgeleverde bevestigingsschroeven en pluggen op de geselecteerde en gekenmerkte
montageplaats.Draai deschroeven niette vast!
Schuifhet gasalarmvlak vanbovenaf opde montagehouder.
Wanneer de stroomvoorziening correct is aangesloten, wordt een automatische zelftest uitgevoerd. Het gasalarm produceert
meerdere harde geluiden, tevens knippert de rode ALARM LED [3] op de voorzijde van de behuizing. Vervolgens geeftde groene
POWERLED [4]aan dathet alarmbedrijfsgereed is.
Als het gasalarm werd losgekoppeld van de stroomvoorziening en daarna opnieuw werd aangesloten, dan voert het apparaat
opnieuween zelftestuit. Zowordt verzekerddat hetgasalarm correctfunctioneert.
Het gasalarm detecteert het uitstromende gas via de sensor. Wanneer de gasconcentratie aan de sensor de vooringestelde
gevoeligheidsdrempel overschrijdt, wordt de gasuitstroming gesignaleerd: de rode ALARM LED [3] knippert en het harde
alarmsignaalklinkt. Ditgebeurt voordater gevaarvoor eenexplosie bestaat.
Hetalarm klinkttotdat degasconcentratie weerdaalt totonder devooringestelde gevoeligheidsdrempel.
Gebruikeen gasaanstekervoor defunctietest vanhet gasalarm.
Laatdirect aande sensoropening[6]opzij ofbeneden gasuit deaansteker ontwijken.
Waarborgdat geen vlambrandt. Het gasalarmdetecteert het uitstromendegas via desensor. Wanneer degasconcentratie aan
desensor devooringestelde gevoeligheidsdrempeloverschrijdt,wordtde gasuitstrominggesignaleerd: de rodeALARMLED [3]
knipperten hetharde alarmsignaalklinkt.
Laat geen gas meer uit de aansteker ontwijken zodra het uitstromende gas gesignaleerd wordt. Het alarm klinkt totdat de
gasconcentratieweer daalttot onderde vooringesteldegevoeligheidsdrempel.
Hetgebruik vanandere methodendan hierbeschreven kanleiden totfoutieve resultaten.
Vooruw eigen veiligheid voerthet toestel een zelfcontroleuit. Mogelijke storingenworden gemeld door hetknipperen van de fout-
LED[2] en het gelijktijdigpiepen van hettoeste. lDeze foutmeldingkan ook doorde omgeving ofdoor een internprobleem van het
toestelgeactiveerd worden.
Controleerbij eenfoutmelding eerst:
ofde omgevingstemperatuurbuiten hetvoorgeschreven bereik(-10 °Ctot +40°C) ligt.
of een storing ook het gevolg kan zijn van aanwezige chemicaliën, bijv. een hoog alcohol- of zuurconcentratie in de lucht.

hetprobleem aande omgeving.
Wanneerde foutmeldingechter actiefblijft, isdat eenaanwijzing vooreen internprobleem:
hetgasalarm heefteen internebeschadiging
hetgasalarm isna eengebruik van5 jaarversleten.
Indeze gevallenmoet hetgasalarm vervangenworden.
Waarborg dat het gasalarm tijdens het onderhoud en de reparatie niet onder spanning staat!
Verwijder regelmatig al het stof van de sensoropeningen met een stofzuiger met borstelkop.
Controleer regelmatig de functionaliteit van het apparaat (zie functietest).
Vervang het gasalarm na een gebruik van 5 jaar.
Verpakkingsmateriaal en uitgewerkte apparaten niet zomaar weggooien. Zorg dat ze milieuvriendelijk worden
opgeruimd.Uw gemeentehuiskan uaan hetadres van demilieustraat helpen.

gas zonder dat gas uitstroomt.
Het gasalarm haalt de functietest niet.

Oorzaak
Gassen van reinigingsmiddelen, verven,
lakken, sprays, kookdamp, tabak en
kaarsenrook worden door de sensor ook
als uitstromend gas gedetecteerd.
Het gasalarm is na een bedrijfsduur van
ca. 5 jaar verbruikt.
De stroomvoorziening is niet correct
aangesloten.

Verhelpen
Verhelp de oorzaak van de
gasvorming.
Probeer het gasalarm in een andere
kamer uit.
Vervang het gasalarm.
Waarborg een foutloze
stroomvoorziening.
