The pet door may be misused potentially giving children access to hazards that may be on the other side of the pet door. Owners with swimming pools should ensure that children are monitored at all times and

that the swimming pool has adequate barriers to entry. If a new hazard is created inside or outside of your home, which may be accessed through the pet door, Radio Systems Corporation recommends that you properly guard access to the hazard or remove the pet door. The closing panel or lock, if applicable, is

provided for aesthetic and energy efficiency purposes and is not intended as a security device. Radio Systems Corporation will not be liable for unintended use, and the owner of this product accepts full responsibility for oversight of the opening it creates.

• In keeping with accepted standards of parental care, children should be supervised at all times.

• To avoid risk of severe injury, follow all safety instructions for your power tools, and wear safety goggles during use.

• The user, prior to installation, must become familiar with all building codes that may affect the installation of the pet door and determine, along with a licensed contractor, its suitability in a given installation. This pet door is not a fire door. It is important for the owner and contractor to consider any risks that

may be present inside or outside of the pet door and any risks that may be created by subsequent changes to the property and how they may relate to the existence and use, including misuse, of the pet door.

• If cutting a metal surface, be aware of sharp edges to prevent injury.

• It is not possible to cut holes in tempered or double pane glass except at the time of manufacture. Consult a professional glazier or glass manufacturer to install the pet door in a glass door or window.

CAUTION, used with the safety alert symbol, indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in minor or moderate injury.

NOTICE is used to address practices not related to personal injury.

• Keep these instructions, and ensure they are transferred to any new owner of the property.

• If the mounting surface (door, wall, etc.) is not level, the pet door must still be installed level to swing properly.

• When applying cutting template there should be a minimum of 76 mm between the bottom and sides of the door and the outer edge of the template to maintain the structural integrity of the door.

• Use a manual screwdriver to tighten screws. Do not overtighten. Overtightening can strip the screws or warp the pet door frame.

• It is not possible to fully guarantee the exclusion of all other animals in all circumstances. Radio Systems Corporation will not accept liability for any damage or inconvenience caused by unwanted animals who may gain access to your home.

Australia/New Zealand – In compliance with the Australian Consumer Law, Warranties Against Defects, effective January 1, 2012, warranty details of this product are as follows: Radio Systems Australia Pty Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Radio Systems”) warrants to the original retail purchaser, and not any

other purchaser or subsequent owner, that its product, when subject to normal and proper residential use, will be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the purchase date. An “original retail consumer purchaser” is a person or entity who originally purchases the product,

or a gift recipient of a new product that is unopened and in its original packaging. When serviced by Radio Systems Customer Service, Radio Systems covers labour and parts for the first three years of ownership; after the first three years, a service or upgrade charge will apply relative to replacement of the product

with new or refurbished items at Radio Systems’ sole discretion.

The limited warranty is non-transferable and shall automatically terminate if the original retail consumer purchaser resells the Radio Systems product or transfers the property on which the Radio Systems product is installed. This Limited Warranty excludes accidental damage due to pet chews; lightning damage; or

neglect, alteration, and misuse. Consumers who purchase products outside of Australia, New Zealand, or from an unauthorised dealer will need to return the product to the original place of purchase for any warranty issues.

Please note that Radio Systems does not provide refunds, replacements, or upgrades for change of mind, or for any other reason outside of these Warranty terms.

To file a claim, a proof of purchase must be provided. Without a proof of purchase, Radio Systems will not repair or replace faulty components. Radio Systems requests the Consumer to contact the Radio Systems Customer Care Centre to obtain a Warranty Return number, prior to sending the product. Failure to do

so may delay in the repair or replacement of the product.

If the product is deemed to be faulty within 30 days from date of original purchase, Radio Systems will organise for a replacement to be sent in advance of returning the faulty product. A Post Bag will be included with the replacement product for the return of the faulty product. The product must be returned within

7 days of receiving the replacement. If the product is deemed to be faulty after 30 days from the date of original purchase, the consumer will be required to return the product to Radio Systems at the consumer’s own expense. Radio Systems will test and replace the faulty unit or its components and return to the

consumer free of charge, provided the product is within its said warranty period. This warranty is in addition to other rights and remedies available to you under the law. Radio Systems goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australia Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or

refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

2. Proper Use

Proper Use includes, without limitation, reviewing the entire Product Manual and any specific safety information statements. The specific temperament or size/weight of your pet may not be suitable for this product. If you are unsure whether this product is appropriate for your pet, please consult your

veterinarian or certified trainer prior to use. For products used with pets where training is desired, Radio Systems Corporation recommends that these training products are not used if your pet is aggressive and accepts no liability for determining suitability in individual cases.

3. No Unlawful or Prohibited Use

This product is designed for use with pets only. This product is not intended to harm, injure or provoke. Using this product in a way that is not intended could result in violation of Federal, State or local laws.

4. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Radio Systems Corporation or any of its associated companies be liable for (i) any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special or consequential damage and/or (ii) any loss or damages whatsoever arising out of or connected with the use or misuse of this product. The Purchaser assumes all

risks and liabilit y from the use of this product to the fullest extent permissible by law.

5. Modification of Terms and Conditions

Radio Systems Corporation reserves the right to change the terms, conditions and notices governing this product from time to time. If such changes have been notified to you prior to your use of this product, they shall be binding on you as if incorporated herein.

• Conformément aux normes reconnues sur les soins parentaux, les enfants doivent toujours être surveillés.

• Pour éviter les risques de blessures graves, suivez toutes les consignes de sécurité fournies avec vos outils électriques et portez des lunettes de protection pendant leur utilisation.

• Avant l’installation, l’utilisateur doit se familiariser avec les réglementations de construction susceptibles d’affecter l’installation de la porte pour animaux et déterminer, avec l’aide d’un entrepreneur agréé, son caractère approprié dans une installation donnée. Cette porte pour animaux n’est pas une porte

coupe-feu. Il importe que le propriétaire et l’entrepreneur prennent en compte tous les risques éventuels d’un côté de la porte pour animaux comme de l’autre, ainsi que tous les risques consécutifs aux modifications ultérieures de la propriété, et leur impact éventuel sur l’existence, l’utilisation, et même une

utilisation indue de la porte pour animaux.

• Si vous découpez une surface métallique, faites attention aux rebords tranchants pour éviter toute blessure.

• Il est impossible de découper des trous dans un verre double épaisseur ou un verre trempé, sauf lors de sa fabrication. Consultez un vitrier professionnel ou un fabricant de verre pour poser la porte pour animaux sur une porte en verre ou une fenêtre.

ATTENTION indique une situation dangereuse qui, si elle n’est pas évitée, pourrait entraîner des blessures légères à modérées.

• Si vous découpez une surface métallique, faites attention aux arêtes vives afin de ne pas vous blesser.

• Conservez ce mode d’emploi et assurez-vous qu’il soit transmis à tout propriétaire ultérieur de la maison.

• Lors de l’application du gabarit de découpe, vous devez laisser au moins 76 mm entre le bas et les côtés de la porte et le bord extérieur du gabarit afin de préserver l’intégrité structurelle de la porte.

• Utilisez un tournevis manuel pour serrer les vis. Ne pas serrer excessivement. Un serrage trop important des vis risque de les rendre lâches ou de déformer le cadre de la porte pour animaux.

• Il est impossible de défendre totalement l’accès à tous les autres animaux en toutes circonstances. Radio Systems Corporation n’assume pas la responsabilité des gênes ou dégâts causés par un animal indésirable qui se serait introduit dans votre maison.

Als er een nieuw risico ontstaat in of buiten uw huis, dat via het huisdierluik toegankelijk is, dan raadt Radio Systems Corporation aan om de toegang tot het risico goed af te schermen, of het huisdierluik

te verwijderen. Het sluitingspaneel of slot, indien van toepassing, wordt geleverd voor esthetische en energie-efficiënte doeleinden en is niet bedoeld als beveiligingsmiddel. Radio Systems Corporation is niet verantwoordelijk voor onbedoeld gebruik en de eigenaar van dit product accepteert de volledige

• In lijn met geaccepteerde normen voor ouderlijke zorg dienen kinderen te allen tijde onder toezicht te staan.

• Om risico op ernstig letsel te vermijden, moeten alle veiligheidsinstructies voor uw elektrische gereedschap worden opgevolgd en moet u tijdens het gebruik daarvan een veiligheidsbril dragen.

• De gebruiker moet zich voorafgaand aan de installatie alle bouwcodes eigen maken die van invloed kunnen zijn op de installatie van het huisdierluik en, samen met een bevoegde aannemer, bepalen of het product geschikt is voor de specifieke situatie. Dit huisdierluik is geen branddeur. Het is belangrijk dat

de eigenaar en aannemer rekening houden met alle mogelijk risico’s, binnen en buiten het huisdierluik en ook met risico’s als gevolg van wijzigingen aan de woning en hoe deze zich verhouden tot de aanwezigheid en het gebruik, inclusief het misbruik, van het huisdierluik.

• Let bij het snijden van een metalen oppervlak op scherpe randen, om letsel te voorkomen.

• In gehard glas of dubbele beglazing kunnen alleen tijdens de vervaardiging ervan gaten worden gemaakt. Vraag een professionele glaszetter of glasfabrikant als u het huisdierluik in een glazen deur of raam wilt installeren.

VOORZICHTIG in combinatie met het symbool voor veiligheidsalarm, geeft een risicovolle situatie aan die, wanneer deze niet vermeden wordt, kan leiden tot licht of matig letsel.

• Let bij het snijden van een metalen oppervlak op voor scherpe randen om letsel te voorkomen.

Gebruiksvoorwaarden en beperking van aansprakelijkheid

Radio Systems Corporation raadt aan om producten die zijn bedoeld voor huisdieren die getraind moeten worden niet te gebruiken als uw huisdier agressief is en is niet aansprakelijk voor het vaststellen van de

geschiktheid van het huisdier in individuele gevallen.

3. Geen onwettig of verboden gebruik

Dit product is uitsluitend bedoeld voor huisdieren. Dit trainingsapparaat is niet bedoeld om schade aan te brengen, te verwonden of te provoceren. Gebruik van dit product op een wijze waarop het niet bedoeld is, kan de schending van nationale of plaatselijke wetten tot gevolg hebben.

4. Beperking van aansprakelijkheid
