InstallationInstallation

Our thermostat guard is t to cover and protect any thermostat

in our line. We have also sized it to t most of the modern con-

trols of todays industry. It was designed with ease, simplicity

and versatility in mind. It can be installed without removing an

existing thermostat from the wall, and can be mounted horizon-

tally or vertically.

Installation Steps

1. Place the base of the guard around the

thermostat centered and level.

2. Mark the wall at the 4 mounting holes with a pen or pencil.

3. Mount the guard base using the 4 anchors and screws

provided, with the locking tab on the side you wish the lock to

be on.

4. Place the guard onto it’s base and securely lock into place.

When using this or any thermostat guard,

the thermostat will experience a decrease

in temperature dissipation due to reduced

airow. To compensate for this when using a

Pro1 Thermostat, we recommend you adjust

the swing setting to its tightest setting (.2° F).
