To Replace Batteries

1. Open the battery compartment on the scale underside.

2. Insert batteries (1 x CR2032) observing the polarity signs

(+ and -) inside the battery compartment.

3. Close the battery compartment.

TO SWITCH ON

1) Place bowl on scale before switching on.

2) Press ON-OFF/ZERO button until -18888 appears on display.

3) Release button and wait until display shows .0

TO ADD & WEIGH

To weigh several dierent ingredients in one bowl, press ON-OFF/ZERO to reset the

display between each ingredient.

AUTO SWITCH OFF

Auto switch-o occurs if display shows for 3 minutes or shows the same weight 0

reading for 3 minutes.

TO CONVERT WEIGHT UNITS

To switch between units press ML-FLOZ/G-OZ button to scroll through until the

desired unit is reached.

MANUAL SWITCH OFF

To maximise battery life reset display to 0, then press ON-OFF/ZERO again to switch o.

CLEANING & CARE

• If the scale is not to being used for a long period, remove the battery.

Always remove ﬂat batteries immediately.

• Clean the scale with a slightly damp cloth. DO NOT immerse the scale in water or

use chemical/abrasive cleaning agents.

• All plastic parts should be cleaned immediately after contact with fats, spices,

vinegar and strongly ﬂavoured/coloured foods. Avoid contact with acids such as

citrus juices.

WEEE EXPLANATION

This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other

household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the

environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it

responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your

GUARANTEE

This product is intended for domestic use only. Salter will repair or replace the

product, or any part of this product, (excluding batteries) free of charge if within

15 years of the date of purchase, it can be shown to have failed through defective

workmanship or materials. This guarantee covers working parts that aect the

function of the scale. It does not cover cosmetic deterioration caused by fair wear

and tear or damage caused by accident or misuse. Opening or taking apart the

scale or its components will void the guarantee. Claims under guarantee must be

supported by proof of purchase and be returned carriage paid to Salter (or local

Salter appointed agent if outside the UK). Care should be taken in packing the

scale so that it is not damaged while in transit. This undertaking is in addition to a

consumer’s statutory rights and does not aect those rights in any way.
