How to use SALUS LX1 Inhibitor

SALUS LX1 Liquid Inhibitor is specially formulated for household cen-

tral-heating systems constructed from mixed metals and plastics. It

provides comprehensive protection—preventing corrosion, scale

build-up, boiler noise, pump blockages and cold spots—while elim-

inating the need for frequent radiator venting. By extending system

life, improving fuel eciency and reducing maintenance costs, LX1

sustains peak performance and is non-toxic, making it safe for both

you and the environment.

Shake the bottle thoroughly and make sure the heating system is

lled with water and depressurized.

Pour the entire 500 mL of LX1 into the system (treats ~100 L of

water).

Open the isolation valves to circulate water and mix in the

inhibitor: hot water (> 50 °C) for at least 1 hour, lukewarm (30–40 °C)

for at least 4 hours, or up to 1 week in cold systems.

After circulation, close the valves, drain impurities through the

separator, and ax the treatment date label to the boiler.

Repeat this treatment once a year to ensure ongoing corrosion and

scale protection.
