A simple USB powered unit that converts high-denition HDMI video signals for use with older TV's and displays with an
analogue Scart interface. Simple to install and operate, this handy little device is ideal for use with Blu-Ray players,
games consoles, Sky HD boxes, laptops and more.

Connection Instructions
• Using a HDMI lead of the required length, connect one end to the input port of the converter and the other to
the output port on your source device (max length 7m ).
• Then Using a Scart lead of the required length, connect one end to the output port of the convert and the er
other to the input port of your splay device (max length 8m di ).

• Using the USB power lead supplied connect the /5V jack to the correct port on the converter and the USB end DV
to a compatible 1A power supply and switch on.
• The red Power LED should now illuminate to indicate the converter is receiving sufficient wer to function po
correctly.
• Finally select the required region using the switch on e converter, PAL for UK and EU and NTSC for US content. th

Power LED illuminate doesn’t
Ensure the USB power lead is correctly connected to the converter and that
a suitable 1A power supply is used and switched on.
No sound or poor sound quality
1. Ensure both the Scart and HDMI leads are correctly fitted to the
converter and both your source and display device s.
2. Ensure all leads use re of sufficient condition and quality.d a
3. Ensure the volume of the display device is not turned down or muted.
No images or poor image quality
1. Ensure the source device is switched on and the Scart lead is connected
correctly.

selected resolution on the converter and reduce if necessar y.
