1. SAFeTY precAUTIONS
• Beforeinstallationoruse,besureto carefullyread allthe instructionsin thissectionfor correctandsafe
operation.
• Besuretofollowalltheprecautionaryinstructionsinthissection,whichcontainimportantwarningsand/or
cautions regarding safety.
• Afterreading,keepthismanualhandyforfuturereference.
• Install the speaker only in a location that can
structurally support the weight of the speaker and
the mounting bracket. Doing otherwise may result
in the speaker falling down and causing personal
injuryand/orpropertydamage.
• Wheninstallingthespeakerundertheeavesinthe
snowyarea,takeappropriatemeasurestoprevent
snow from lying on the speaker. If snow lies on the
speaker, it may fall, causing personal injuries.
• Owing to the speaker’s size and weight, be sure
thatatleasttwopersonsareavailabletoinstallthe
speaker. Failure to do so could result in personal
injury.
• Donotuseothermethodsthanspeciedtomount
the speaker. Extreme force is applied to the bracket
and the speaker could fall off, possibly resulting in
personal injuries.
• Use safety wires when installing speakers. If not
used, personal injury could result if a speaker
should accidentally fall.
• Attachthesafetywiretothespeaker.Ifnotattached,
the speaker could fall off, resulting in personal
injury.
• Use nuts and bolts that are appropriate for the
wall’s structure and composition. Failure to do so
may cause the speaker to fall, resulting in material
damage and possible personal injury.
• Tighten each nut and bolt securely. Ensure that
the bracket has no loose joints after installation
to prevent accidents that could result in personal
injury.
• Use the HX-7B-WP and HX-7W-WP Speaker
System in combination.
Doing otherwise may cause the speaker to fall off,
resulting in personal injury.
• Do not mount the speaker in locations exposed
to constant vibration. The mounting bracket can
be damaged by excessive vibration, potentially
causing the speaker to fall, which could result in
personal injury.
• Avoidinstallingthespeakerinlocationsclosetothe
seashore or in indoor swimming facilities that are
not well ventilated. In such locations, the bracket
maybevulnerabletocorrosion,eventuallyallowing
the speaker to fall resulting in personal injury.

• Avoid touching the bracket’s sharp metal edge to
preventinjury.
• Donotplaceheavyobjectsonthebracketasthis
may cause the speaker to fall or break which may
result in personal injury and/or property damage.
In addition, the object itself may fall off and cause
injuryand/ordamage.
• Donotstandorsiton,norhangdownfromtheunit
as this may cause the speaker to fall down or drop,
resultinginpersonalinjuryand/orpropertydamage.
• Havethebracketcheckedperiodicallybytheshop
from where it was purchased. Failure to do so may
result in corrosion or damage to the bracket that
could cause the speaker to fall, possibly causing
personal injury.

TheHY-MS7SeriesbracketsareintendedformountingtheHX-7B-WPorHX-7W-WPSpeakerSystemtothe
wallunderoutdooreaves.ThesebracketsalsohaveprovisionformountingtheMT-200MatchingTransformer*
directly to this bracket.
*Thismatchingtransformerisusedtoconvertlowimpedanceintohighimpedance100Vlineor70Vline.
3. NOTES ON INSTALLATION
• Observethefollowinginstructionswheninstallingthespeakersystem.
Failuretodosocouldadverselyaffecttheirintendedweather-proof
and splash-proof capabilities, leading to malfunction.
· Install the speaker system in locations not exposed directly to rain,
suchasundertheeaves.
· All speaker modules must point downward from the horizontal.
• Wheninstallingthespeaker,ensureallrearanglebars*aresettothe
samedirectivityanglemode.Ifdifferentdirectivityanglemodesare
combined,theHY-MS7Series’bottombracketcannotbemountedto
the wall bracket.
* Thebracketbarsusedtojoinindividualspeakermodulesattherear
ofthe speaker.For instructions on changing the directivity angle,
refertotheinstructionmanualsuppliedwiththeHX-7B-WPorHX-
7W-WPspeaker.
• Horizontalspeakerinstallationnotpossible.
