2. Function description
The clock thermostat is designed to control the room tem-
perature.
Intheautomaticmode,achangeoveriseectedbetween
comfortandsetbackmodebythebuiltintimer.
Optionallyremotesensorcanbeusedinsteadofbuilt-in
sensor.
Insetbackmodethegreenindicatorlamplightsup.
Ifroomtemperaturedropsbelowsetvalue,heatingwillstart,
theredindicatorlampwilllightup.

Redindicateswhencontrollerdemandsheat,
Greenindicateswhensetbackmodeisactivated.
Redashingforfailure.Operatingvoltagetobeswit-
chedOFFandONagain.
Controller heat demand at PWM
Ifroomtemperaturedropsbelowthesetvalue,heatingmode
willstart.Thecontrolleroutputisintheformofpulsesof
varyinglength(PWM).Thelengthofthepulsesdependson
thedierencebetweensetandactualroomtemperature.
ThesumofpulseandpausetimescanbeselectedwithJ4
(between10or25min.).
Iftherearelargetemperaturedierences,thecontrollerwill
switchONorOFFpermanent,e.g.whenchangingoverto
temperaturesetbackmode.PWMshouldonlybeusedfor
current≤10A

•isfreefromdraughts(e.g.openingofwindowsanddoors)
•isnotaecteddirectlybythesourceofheat
•isnotlocatedonanexternalwall
•islocatedapprox.1,5maboveoorlevel

Proceed as follows:
•pullotemperaturesettingknob
•pushretaininghookoutwardsusingscrewdriver
•removehousingcover
•makeconnectionincompliancewithwiringdiagram
(seehousingcover).

Havingconnectedtheremotesensor,theintegralsensing
componentwillbeswitchedoautomatically.
Thesensorcableisextendableuptoalengthofmax.50m.
Pleaseuseatwo-core230Vcablewithacrosssectionof1.5
mm.
Thesensorcable(F193720)shouldbeinstalledintoaprotecti-
ontube(pocket).Thisfacilitateslaterreplacement.
Incaseoffailure(breakorshort-circuit)thecontrollerswitches
into emergency operation:
