Overview
The -VW CAM is a factory trunk VW logo replacement for select VW’s which ips open to reveal
a reverse camera whenever the vehicle is placed in reverse. Opening the trunk is sll
operaonal by pressing the logo manually, provided the doors are unlocked.

VW-CAM Installaon
1. Verify the factory VW trunk logo opens the trunk properly (vehicle must be fully
unlocked).
2. Begin by removing the factory trunk liner. It is held
in by various plasc clips:
3. Disconnect the 2-pin plug connected to the factory
logo handle:
4. Remove (3x) Torx bolts that secure the factory VW
logo to the trunk lid. Carefully pull the VW logo o
of the trunk lid.
The next few steps picture the VW CC, other vehicles will be similar.

5. With a small at pry tool, carefully pry the chrome colored VW logo from the OEM
handle base. It is secured with clips only.
6. If the OEM chrome VW logo does not t
properly on the VW-CAM handle, it may
be necessary to remove (pry o) the
oponal black oblong layer which comes
connected by default on the VW-CAM.
7. Run the smaller end of the provided from hole in the edge of the trunk lid to Drain Tube
the white nipple on the VW-CAM.
8. Bolt the VW-CAM into the trunk lid in the same orientaon that the OEM handle was
removed, using the same Torx bolts.
9. Reconnect the OEM 2-pin plug to the VW- 2-pin plug (black & yellow wires). CAM’s
